Our requirements  

To ensure the safety, health, and happiness of all the dogs in our care, we kindly ask all pet parents to meet
the following requirements:


Age: All dogs must be at least 4 months of age, Potty and house-trained.

Gender: All dogs must be spayed or neutered.

Required Vaccinations: All dogs entering our place must have up-to-date vaccinations on record. Owners must submit proof from their Veterinarian that their dog is current on the following vaccinations:

• Rabies (1 year or 3 year)

• Distemper Combo

• Leptospirosis

• Bordetella – required every 6 months*

• Canine Influenza – part 1 and part 2

Parasite Prevention: All dogs entering our place must be free of parasites, including fleas, ticks and intestinal parasites. We do require that all dogs be on year-round heart-worm and flea preventative prescribed by their Veterinarian as well as be current on annual fecal testing.

We will ask for proof of it. It can be a receipt or proof from their Veterinarian.

Behavior: All dogs attending our place must have never shown any signs of aggression towards other dogs or people. All “parents” will need to certify that their dog has no history of aggression.

Dress Code: All dogs must arrive on 4 or 6 ft leash wearing a flat, quick release, snap on collar for their safety. Collars should be neither too tight nor too loose. Identification on their collar is recommended.

Your Fur baby must have its nails trimmed and bathed.

Food and Personal Items
  1. Meals: Please provide your dog’s food in pre-portioned containers or bags. Clearly label all food items with your dog’s name and feeding instructions.

  2. Bedding and Toys: You may bring a small blanket or toy from home to help your dog feel comfortable. Personal items must be labeled, and we are not responsible for lost or damaged items.

  3. Training pads: We encourage you to provide the training pads your dog is familiar with for their comfort. Our goal is to ensure your dog feels comfortable and cared for, no matter their routine at home.

Cancellation Policies


How to Make a Reservation

  • To ensure we provide the best care and attention for your furry friend, all reservations at Doggy Den Resort must be made by following these steps:

  1. Contact Us : Reach out to us via (727) 459-6421 or doggydenresort@gmail.com, to check availability and discuss your dog’s needs.

  2. Complete Our Application: We require all pet parents to fill out an application form. This helps us gather important information about your dog’s health, temperament, and care requirements. 

  3. Confirmation Once your application is submitted and approved, we will confirm your reservation.

  • Reservation: A deposit of $50 is required to confirm bookings for overnight stays

  • Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled service will incur a fee of $50.

Late Payment and Pickup Fees

  • Payments are due at the time of service or upon pickup.

  • We charge for each 24-hour period starting from the drop-off time. Plus, we offer 2 extra free hours as a bonus! For example, if you drop your pup off at 10:00 AM, pickup is free until 12:00 PM the following day. After that, an additional day will apply.

Holiday No-Show and Cancellation Policy

At Doggy Den, we understand that plans can change. However, due to high demand during holidays, we have implemented the following policy to ensure fairness and availability for all our clients:

  • A $10 surcharge applies for services during holidays (Christmas, New Year’s, Summer, etc.).

Holiday Reservations

  • A non-refundable deposit of $65 (per family) is required at the time of booking to secure your holiday reservation.

Holiday Cancellations

  • Cancellations made at least 7 days before the scheduled holiday service will forfeit the deposit but will not incur additional fees.

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled service will be charged the full cost of the reserved service.

No-Shows

  • If you fail to cancel and do not show up for your scheduledholiday service, the full cost of the reservation will be charged.

Why This Policy?

The holiday season is our busiest time, and last-minute cancellations or no-shows prevent us from accommodating other clients who need our services. This policy helps us ensure fair access to all.

Special Services & Requests

  • Any additional services or custom requests will be charged based on the agreement at the time of booking.

  • Additional Walks: +$20 per 20 min session

  • Medication Administration: +$3 per day ( Please, bring “Pill Pockets” or whatever you use to give the meds ).

House-training Support for puppies

  • We know that potty training can be a challenging but essential part of raising a happy, well-adjusted dog. At Doggy Den, we’re here to help support your efforts and reinforce good habits during your dog’s stay with us

  1. Consistency with Your Training RoutineLet us know your house training methods and schedule, and we’ll follow them to maintain consistency for your dog.

  1. Positive Reinforcement: Our team uses praise, treats, and encouragement to reward successful potty behavior.

  1. Scheduled Potty Breaks: We ensure regular outdoor potty breaks, tailored to your dog’s needs and progress.

  2. Accident Management: If accidents happen, we address them calmly and clean up immediately without scolding to avoid stress for your pup.

  3. Customized Support: Whether your pup is learning to transition from training pads or working on going outside, we’ll work closely with you to ensure your goals are met.

  • Please provide any special instructions or needs for your dog at the time of booking to ensure we can accommodate them.

  • We reserve the right to adjust our fees with prior notice to our clients.
